Employee Spotlight: Luigi

Talent acquisition is more than just filling vacancies. Recruiters can find great talent a business and at the same time, can offer candidates better opportunities than they’ve had previously. Luigi, one of Yempo’s Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists, gives us a glimpse of his work experience, values, and aspirations for the future.

Can you describe your role at Yempo?

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, I am tasked with finding highly qualified candidates for the vacancies.

When did you start working at Yempo?

I started working at Yempo last November 2021.

What can Yempo employees contact you about?

Yempo employees can contact us (recruitment team) with regards to their referrals and job openings.

Can you share any latest projects you’re working on in 2022?

The team and I are continuously filling the vacancies for our clients.

What do you love most about your job?

Pursuing a career in HR/Recruitment – specifically, sourcing has always been my dream. I can get talent for a business, and at the same time, can offer candidates better opportunities than they’ve had previously.

What are your strongest skills?

I’ve been exposed to sourcing since 2015, and I can say that it is my strongest suit.

What was a challenge you experienced at Yempo and how was it solved?

It’s normal to have a challenging experience when you’re new to the company. I think mine was the first kickoff meeting with a new client but thanks to my manager, she guided me through the process.

What do you like best about Yempo’s culture?

Yempo values their employees and they practice work-life balance.

Which core value (commitment, excellence, community) is the most important to you? Why?

I would say Commitment. Because if you are committed to what you’re doing, excellence and community will follow.

Where do you see your career 5 years from now?

I see myself still working in recruitment and hopefully being a supervisor or manager.

Do you have quotes, advice, or mottos that you follow that might inspire other Yempo employees?

“Got for it. No matter how it ends, it was an experience.”
