Meet Rara, Yempo’s Service Delivery Lead based in our Oakridge, Cebu office. In her role, Rara is guided by industry standards and policies in providing world-class services to clients. Read on to learn how she has manouvered her career over the years and her vision of the future.
Can you describe your role at Yempo?
I am the Service Delivery Lead, responsible for tasks such as ensuring there are enough resources for a 24/7 operation and evaluating team members’ performance to align them with Yempo and clients’ processes.
How long have you been working here?
I joined in June 2017, so cheers to 2 years and 8 months and more, more, more!
What can Yempo employees contact you about?
I am dedicated to one client and mostly engage with its staff members. They can contact me for a range of needs such as clarification of business-related processes to a casual out-of-the-blue invite for some fun.
Can you share any latest projects you’re working on in 2020?
Top 3 things come to mind:
- Staffing – Working with Yempo HR to fill positions as we grow
- Reporting – Showing how the company progresses and presenting to team members their contribution to convey how the company appreciates them
- Team Member Engagement – Organizing activities either monthly or quarterly, such as team lunches inside the office, dinner outside, and overnight stays with games for team building
What do you love most about your job?
The avenue to grow and provide support not only to our clients but also to our team members, which help me assess my own capabilities and strengths.
What are your strongest skills?
Adaptability. I can easily change my action or approach to cater to different situations.
What was a challenge you experienced at Yempo and how was it solved?
I had challenges juggling different tasks. I was able to adjust by addressing one task at a time, admitting that I needed support in some areas, then tapping appropriate team members for help until I was confident I could do them on my own.
What do you like best about Yempo’s culture?
The open space, which promotes trust among employees.

Excellence. It to enables me to deliver utmost commitment to the community.
Where do you see your career 5 years from now?
I see myself as someone who is more confident in providing support to others to help them realize their own career path.
