In this position, you will be assigned to our client located in Melbourne. They are primarily focused on meeting the needs of businesses and the individuals within them through a collaborative approach to financial services. They pride on an integrated service offering, giving peace of mind that comes with knowing financial and lifestyle goals are being worked on.

Your Responsibilities:
• Assist in the transition of legacy technologies to new platforms like Microsoft Fabric.
• Optimize/re-build our devops pipelines to maximize the efficiency of your fellow team members.
• Integrate your new ideas into our development processes driving a cycle of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the integration of AI and LLMs in our platforms.
• Work with the team to resolve incidents and client requests within the scope of our existing platforms.

Your Background:
• Core Technical Skills:
• Azure
• Bicep/ARM templates
• Python
• Azure Data Factory and Azure Batch
• General knowledge of web development process, networking & security

You are someone with:
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• A genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Good at learning new technology and debugging issues
• Continuously looking to improve and expand your own skill-set
• You are naturally curious, solution oriented, and passionate

Nice to Have/Preferred Skills:
• JavaScript (Ideally Vue or React Frameworks)
• Django
• Microsoft Certifications
• Power BI
