The Client

A fast-growing property investment company that sources potential property deals through public referrals. Every lead they receive is an opportunity—so accuracy, efficiency, and consistency are key.

The Role

As the Team Leader – Data Processing, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a team that evaluates property leads submitted by the public. You will guide the team to meet performance targets, ensure accuracy and quality control, manage recruitment and training, and act as the main point of contact for the UK-based management team. In addition, you will perform property research yourself as part of the team’s day-to-day work.

Your Responsibilities  

Team Leadership & Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the UK team and the local processing team.
  • Relay instructions, updates, and feedback clearly and consistently.
  • Monitor daily performance and ensure team targets are met.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of processed data.
  • Identify underperformance trends and proactively address them.
  • Provide regular performance reports to UK management.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of team processes and internal procedures.

Staff Administration

  • Track team attendance, including sickness, lateness, and time off.
  • Manage and approve holiday requests.
  • Monitor and support the progress of new staff members with coaching and feedback.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage hiring processes when team expansion is required.
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and liaise with HR.
  • Oversee onboarding and training to ensure smooth integration into the team

Data Processing Responsibilities

In addition to managing the team, you will also:

  • Use platforms such as Rightmove, Zoopla, HM Land Registry, Google Maps, council planning portals, etc. to:
  • Verify if the property is listed on the market.
  • Check if the property has been sold within the last 5 years.
  • Investigate whether the property has existing planning permission.
  • Assess whether the property is likely to be vacant or occupied.
  • Confirm the property isn’t already in our internal database.
  • Determine whether the property is residential or commercial.
  • Meet the same daily property check targets expected of the data processing team

Your Background 

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Previous experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
  • Experience in Data entry role or similar positions
  • Background in property is preferable
  • Salesforce experience is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail — mistakes can result in financial loss or missed business opportunities
  • Efficient work style – able to complete tasks quickly without sacrificing accuracy
  • Confident using a variety of online tools and websites for research
  • Highly organized with the ability to follow structured guidelines
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
