Our Client

Our client is a well-established UK-based company operating in the commercial furniture and workspace solutions sector. They are known for high-quality, design-driven products, a commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship, and an international footprint.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. You will ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices, timely payments, and employee expense claims. You will also provide support for month-end accounting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping for our North American operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Enter and verify supplier invoices in Enapps ERP (or similar systems) and resolve queries.
• Match invoices to Purchase Orders or obtain approvals for non-PO invoices.
• Prepare and process supplier payments according to scheduled runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process staff expense claims accurately.
• Manage the shared accounting inbox efficiently.
• Add new suppliers with correct VAT, Company Registration, and bank details.
• Assist with month-end accounting: bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and Fixed Asset Register updates.
• Provide bookkeeping support for North America operations.

Your Background

• 3–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with Enapps ERP preferred; similar ERP systems acceptable.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Team player with flexibility to handle multiple accounting tasks.
• Desirable: experience in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
