Our Client

Our Melbourne-based client is a boutique accounting and advisory practice specialising in operations and commercial finance. Acting as a CFO for companies with a turnover of up to AUD$20m, they seek a Xero Accountant to support their business activities. 

Your Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Assist with daily account reconciliation
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding receivables
  • Monitor Remittance Mailboxes and process allocation
  • Assist with Aging Debt to follow up on the outstanding invoices

Bank Reconciliation

  • Assist with daily bank reconciliation
  • Follow up on any reconciling items promptly
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is provided

Accounts Payable

  • Process a high volume of bills daily by defined procedures
  • Ensure accurate copies of invoices or correspondence necessary for files
  • Assist in reimbursements and allowances to employees
  • Supplier statement reconciliations monthly
  • Follow up any enquiries and problem resolution from internal and external parties


  • Resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities as requested
  • Do data entry
  • Ad-hoc tasks requested by client, relating to the position


  • We are looking for candidates with at least 2 Years of experience in the related field. 
  • Required Skills: Unified Communications, Logical thinking, Organise, Good with Analysing reports, Ability to Summarise and allocate data, Proactive, Team player and Great attention to detail.
  • Two years of experience as an employee specialising in Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent.
