About the Role
The Designer is responsible to produce client’s Scaffold & Access equipment layout drawings to enable client’s customers to understand how to correctly erect and safely use the equipment for its intended purpose. Maintain a responsible attitude to the health and safety of self and others in accordance with client’s legislative guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure all design solutions are produced in a practical, safe and economic way, in accordance with customer requirements relayed by our sales team and instructions from more senior design staff.
• All designs adequately indicate the safe use of equipment and contain notes that clearly define the basis of the design and the responsibilities of the customer.
• Consistent production of economic designs shown on clear and accurate drawings, maximizing commercial opportunities.
• Clear, comprehensive, adequate, efficient production of structural calculations
• All design work, drawings, quants and calculations must be produced with minimal errors. Construction status drawings must be checked by another senior designer or above.
• Maintain a responsible attitude to the health and safety of self and others in accordance with client’s legislative guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:

Essential
• Qualifications of Degree in Industrial/Construction/Engineering
• 3 years AutoCAD design software experience
• Intermediate Revit
• Used scaffold and access products
• Excellent English communication skills
• Computer literate (MS Office) with a good understanding of Excel
• Team builder
• Relationship building skills
