About the Role
The FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting the Group finance function, with responsibility for core financial operations, group reporting, and insightful financial analysis.
This is a hands‑on role, combining day‑to‑day finance activity (including bookkeeping, VAT and audit coordination) with forward‑looking analysis and reporting, ensuring the Board and senior leadership have timely, accurate, and meaningful financial information to support decision‑making.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee basic bookkeeping and account production for the parent company
- Ensure accurate posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Support month‑end close processes and production of management accounts
- Coordinate Group VAT returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Coordinate the annual financial audit process across the Group
- Own and develop group‑level reporting, ensuring consistency and clarity across businesses
- Produce regular management reporting packs with clear variance analysis and commentary
- Develop and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning activities
- Adherence to the company management systems and QHSES responsibilities as defined within the ‘overview and context of the organization’ document.

- Experience in UK financial regulations (i.e., Audit and VAT) is essential
- AAT, CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the reporting tool – Phocas – is highly desirable
