The Role

This role is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to assist our team with mapping and data-related tasks. This involves working with the client’s proprietary mapping software to create and annotate site plans, manage property boundary data, and compile reports based on site surveys. Collaboration will primarily be through Microsoft Teams, and document management will be handled via SharePoint. This position does not require advanced graphic design skills but does require strong PC proficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities 

Mapping & Annotation:

• Use our mapping software to create new site plans (e.g. the attached)
• Annotate plans with arrows, labels, and access points for clarity.
• Mark property boundaries based on data from systems such as Land Registry.

Data Management & Collaboration:

• Assist with data entry tasks related to property and site information.
• Compile reports using data collected from site surveys and other sources.
• Upload, organize, and maintain documents in SharePoint.
• Communicate and collaborate with the team via Microsoft Teams.

Research & Verification:

• Access and interpret property boundary information from official sources (e.g., Land Registry).
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across all plans and reports.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong familiarity with PC-based tools and software.
• Ability to learn and use proprietary mapping software quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good written communication skills for report compilation.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Basic understanding of property layouts or mapping concepts.
