IT Support Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity available for an IT Support Specialist working nightshifts in our Manila office. You must be WFH capable with strong internet connection as we are home based for the duration of the pandemic.

Our Client

In this position, you will be assigned to our client, a premier provider for Managed IT Services in Southwest Florida, specializing in small and medium businesses.

Your Responsibilities

  • Always maintain the highest levels of security and data confidentiality as your highest priority
  • Serve as point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, and/or remote sessions
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers, asking probing questions when needed to determine the root cause
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products and/or services to clients at all times
  • Record all work in the PSA accurately and within established timelines
  • Follow-up and update customer status as needed based on the individual issue
  • Pass on any customer feedback to the president
  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside regular office hours to support IT needs
  • Rotation of on-call schedule for after-hours support

Your Background

  • 3+ years’ experience in Technical Support
  • Office 365 experience with the following:
    • User provisioning
    • SharePoint file sharing
    • Email troubleshooting
    • Two-factor authentication setup
  • General workstation and network troubleshooting experience
  • Remote monitoring software
  • Print/scan troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and experience with routers, switches, firewall technologies, installation and configuration of DSL and cable
  • VOIP Systems experience is also desirable
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an ever-changing and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle job stress, interact effectively with others in the workplace and act with honesty and composure in public
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service
