The client is a Barcelona-based relocation company that helps English-speakers from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia navigate every stage of a move to Spain. Founded by two people who made the move themselves, they have guided thousands of clients through the process and built a trusted reputation for honest, practical, expert-led advice. Their team is small, their standards are high, and they work asynchronously across time zones with clear processes and detailed guidelines so you are never left guessing. They are looking for a creative, aesthetic-driven Marketing Specialist to take ownership of their social media content production.
Your Responsibilities
This role is built around Instagram content production to begin with, expanding to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn as you settle in. You will work primarily from source material they provide: video they have filmed, partner-filmed video, B-roll footage, and content from Envato. Your job is to turn that raw material into polished, on-brand content that follows their detailed social media strategy and visual identity. You will also support the marketing team on additional tasks when capacity allows.
Social Media Content Production (Instagram, then other channels)
- Edit and produce Reels, carousels, and static posts using video footage, B-roll, Envato assets, partner content.
- Create designed assets in Canva using exact brand palette, fonts, and photography-first approach.
- Repurpose existing content (emails, webinar clips, articles) into Instagram-native formats.
- Schedule and publish posts according to the content calendar.
- Manage and apply ManyChat comment-trigger CTAs where relevant (training provided).
- Maintain consistency across the feed: visual identity, tone, pillar balance, and audience stage coverage.
- Once Instagram is running smoothly, you will begin adapting content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Full guidelines for each platform will be provided.
Marketing Support
- Upload and format articles in WordPress to house style.
- Create infographics and supporting graphics using Canva and Claude project.
- Support with general marketing tasks as directed by the team.
What The Client Will Provide
- A comprehensive Social Media Strategy and Content Instructions document covering everything: brand voice, visual identity, content pillars, caption structure, audience stages, and competitor context.
- Exact brand colours (hex values), fonts, logo files, and Canva templates.
- Raw video footage, B-roll, and photography.
- Source material to repurpose: email newsletters, webinar recordings, blog articles, and client stories.
- Access to their Envato Elements library for supplementary photography and videography.
- A Claude project to assist with caption writing, copy refinement, and infographic creation.
- Canva access with their brand kit.
- Ongoing feedback, direction, and strategic input from the marketing team.
- Clear briefs for each piece of content using a standardized brief format.
Your Background
Essential
- Relevant marketing experience with a creative and aesthetic-driven personality.
- Proven experience producing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
- Competent and confident in Canva: able to produce clean, consistent designs to a brief.
- Strong written English: capable of writing captions that are clear, specific, and natural, not generic.
- Organized and reliable: able to manage a daily posting schedule without constant chasing.
- Detail-oriented: willing to follow brand guidelines precisely and flag when something is unclear rather than guessing.
- Video editing skills: comfortable trimming footage, adding captions, syncing audio, and producing clean Reels (CapCut preferred).
Desirable
- Experience working with a personal brand or founder-led content account.
- Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS.
- Experience with ManyChat or similar DM automation tools.
- Understanding of Instagram content strategy, not just production.
- Experience working in or creating content about travel, lifestyle, relocation, finance, or property.
- Comfortable working with AI writing tools as part of a content production
