Our Client

In this position, you will be assigned to our client, a leading independent supplier focused on improving the performance of British Agricultural and Equestrian businesses. As one of the few independent businesses in the UK that supply the British countryside, they are the one-stop supplier of veterinary consumables, animal nutritional supplements, and animal health solutions. In addition to their extensive stocking capabilities, they work with some of the biggest brands available to ensure clients get what they need when needed. With a knowledgeable internal team and extensive operational reach, they are often referred to as the most reliable supplier in the UK for deliveries on farms.

Your Responsibilities

  • Issue invoices and statements.
  • Chase overdue account balances.
  • Allocate receipts to customer’s accounts.
  • Resolve cases and issue credit notes.
  • Responding to emails concerning sales matters.
  • Resolve all customer queries relating to orders, deliveries, etc.
  • Resolve delivery issues with carriers and haulers.
  • Support the Sales Team with administrative tasks as required.
  • Accept customer’s payments over the telephone.
  • Assist customers with any problems setting up accounts online.
  • Update retail prices.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations monthly.

Your Background

  • Minimum five years experience in a Virtual Assistant or similar position
  • Clear English communication skills
  • Good English writing skills
  • Ability to use positive language
  • Attentiveness
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Someone who understands veterinary or livestock would be desirable but not essential
  • Ability to learn business context quickly
  • High level of computer competence
