Our Client
In this position, you will be assigned to our client based in the US, an IT consulting firm (Managed Service Partner) located in Manhattan focusing on NYC-based small and medium businesses.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based systems and services on AWS and Azure platforms
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC), monitoring, and automation tools
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment, operation, and scaling of applications
- Lead the troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure issues and provide technical support and guidance
- Stay up to date with cloud trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvements
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to cloud infrastructure and processes
- Assist in establishing and enforcing cloud architecture standards and guidelines
- Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure data integrity and availability
- Provide cloud engineering mentorship and training to other team members
Your Background
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Cloud Engineering role with expertise in AWS and Azure platforms
- Proven experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Strong experience in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, like Docker, and orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect certification is a plus
