Your Responsibilities

The Workday Admin/Analyst is accountable for the day-to-day management, configuration and support of the Workday system. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Workday related queries and ensures the system operates efficiently to support finance processes. The role works closely with both Finance team and other departments to maintain system integrity, implement enhancements and provide technical support to end-users.             

Delivery

System configuration and maintenance

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes.
  • Manage and maintain the Workday tenant environments, including Production, Sandbox and Test tenants.
  • Set up and maintain user roles, permissions, and security groups in Workday.
  • Monitor and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems (e.g. Django, banks, etc).
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards as stakeholders’ requests to provide insights on financials and operations.

User support and Training

  • Develop user training materials and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for any issues they encounter in Workday.
  • Facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions on new features and system updates.

Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline or improve existing business processes within Workday.
  • Engage in ongoing assessment and improvement of Workday processes to increase effectiveness and ease of use.
  • Participate in implementing automation tools and features to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency for the end-users.

Out-of-Hours Contact Requirement

  • Due to the nature and responsibilities of this role, it is identified as one that requires out-of-hours contact. The incumbent will need to be available outside of standard working hours given the global nature of the role and in particular to address urgent matters and ensure continuity of operations. Clear guidelines and expectations regarding out-of-hours contact will be established in collaboration with the Employee’s Manager
