From Floating to Flourishing: My 10-Year Journey with Yempo

The Rescue
In 2015, I was working as an Accounts Staff at an Australian company. It was an uncertain time for the team; the company faced a redundancy, and while I was fortunate to stay on with six of my colleagues, we were essentially “floating” without a management team. Then Yempo stepped in. They didn’t just hire us; they “adopted” our team and kept us with our same client, officially onboarding us on April 18, 2016. It was a seamless transition that turned a period of uncertainty into a long-term career.
The Early Days
When I joined, Yempo was still a fresh face in the offshoring market. Because we were a small group, we were incredibly close-knit. I fondly remember our monthly office gatherings – they were instrumental in building a sense of community.
What stood out most was how management handled our unique onboarding. They were incredibly approachable and always looked out for our best interests. Over the years, Yempo has evolved significantly. It’s been amazing to watch the company become more innovative and observant of industry trends, all while maintaining a culture that isn’t “uptight” but instead feels supportive and professional.
The Pandemic
The true testament to Yempo’ s culture was how they handled the pandemic. While the world felt uncertain, the transition to remote work was incredibly quick and completely hassle-free. They didn’t just give us the tools to work from home; they were consistently there to support us emotionally and professionally. Knowing I had a stable, supportive management team during such a global crisis made me realize that Yempo is a company that truly puts its people first.
Growth and Consistency
While my core roles have remained consistent over the years, the challenges I’ve navigated have allowed me to sharpen my expertise and grow in confidence. Being a Yempo employee means having a sense of pride in where you work. Whenever friends ask, I’m always quick to share how good this company is. What has kept me here for nearly a decade? It’s the strength of my teammates, the work-life flexibility, and a culture that makes me feel valued every day.
The Future
Yempo is clearly thriving. I know this because of the sheer number of friends and acquaintances who ask me how they can join the team! Looking ahead, I am confident that Yempo will continue to succeed and lead in the offshoring industry. I see myself continuing to grow alongside the company, contributing to the same culture that welcomed me back in 2016.
